Techopolis: The Origin Story

Have you come across our company online and wonder, “How did they come up with that name?” Well, this blog post will answer that question. This is the story of how Techopolis Online Solutions got its name.

In 2017, I was looking for a great new name for my Wi-Fi network as it seemed to be the thing to do to come up with a cool name for your home Wi-FI name. I decided to combine two of my favorite things into one word, These two interests are technology, and city scapes. I’ve always enjoyed seeing how cities are created and how amazing skylines look. It then was obvious what my network name should be, and I decided to go with Techopolis.

In 2021, I decided to finally start a company that would focus on creating apps for Apple platforms. I already had an individual Apple Developer account since 2011, but I could not add developers or team members, so a company account was required. I decided to create the business through Stripe Atlas, and we formed under the name of Techopolis Online Solutions, LLC.

Techopolis has since branched out into several areas in tech over the years, but it became clear this year that we needed to go back to the basics, and focus on what we do best, and that is to provide amazing mobile apps for everyone, and to help others learn how simple it is to start coding.
